Jet-lag and Performance of Athletes

AIM

The purpose of this project is to find out more about jet lag effecting professional sports (baseball). East coast teams have better winning percentages than the West coast teams when traveling across three time zones. By learning more about jet lag and the effect it has on professional sports players (baseball), then and only then is the achievement achieved. After finding all the information needed the experiment began. The 1996 baseball season was used for finding the average or percentage of home games won by East and West coast teams. After naming the East and West Coast teams, their schedule was looked at to find the playing East and West coast teams. Then by determining a win and lost percentage of the East and West coast teams was the comparison made and conclusions drawn.
